• WWII USAAF Type A-8A Oxygen Regulator

    Oxygen Regulator Type A-8A USAAF . Made by The Bendix Aviation Corp. Regulators were used to reduce the pressure of compressed oxygen flowing from the aircraft storage cylinders/walk around bottles to a useable pressure. They also provided an accurate control of oxygen flow to the mask. The A-8A is a high pressure regulator with a bayonet type outlet nipple. Amongst other applications the A-8A was used with the A-2 high pressure cylinder and a walk-around sling. Condition is as the photos.  As can be seen on the rear makers plate, the production date is 1943.
