WWII RAF RPM Gauge 6A/778 MK.IVB Dated 1941
Here we have a 1941 dated RPM Gauge MK IVB or correctly referred to as an Electric Rev Indicator.
Encased in a slim metal body usually referred to as the Smith's body this unit has a stores reference 6A/778. Rated to 5,000 feet and used in conjunction with the MK.IV Generator. Used on aircraft such as the Lancaster bomber.
Condition is as shown in the photos. The rear body has some paint loss and could do with a clean otherwise no damage. The makers plate has rusted but the date can still be seen which is 1941. The face is in excellent condition as shown
